Meetings

On April 10, 2026, a meeting of the Country Coordinating Mechanism for HIV and Tuberculosis (hereinafter referred to as the CCM) was held under the chairmanship of A. Bokazhanova, Deputy Chair of the CCM and Coordinator for Key Populations and Community Engagement at the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS in Kazakhstan.

Agenda:

1. Announcement of new funding from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter referred to as the Global Fund) for the HIV and TB components starting in 2027.

2. Agreement on the Global Fund funding allocation framework for 2027-2030:

2.1 Key focus areas for the Tuberculosis component within the new Global Fund grant for 2029-2030.

2.2. Key focus areas for the HIV component of the new Global Fund grant for 2027-2029.

3. Civil society's vision for strengthening the response to the HIV and Tuberculosis epidemics in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Plan for implementing the Global Fund's eligibility criteria for CCMs during the new proposal development process:

4.1 Approval of the Country Dialogue plan;

4.2 Agreement on the composition of the working group for writing the proposal and conducting the Country Dialogue.
