Oversight visit to North - Kazakhstan Region

The purpose of the visit:

To estimate the progress and gaps in the implementation of the projects funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter - the GFATM) with the purpose of support to the Country Coordinating Mechanism for Work with International Organizations (hereinafter - CCM) in implementation of its responsibilities on grant oversight. 

Objectives are the following:

1. Analysis of the reports  of the GFATM grants sub-recipients in Kostanay region for 2011 and for the 1st quarter of 2012;

2. Meetings with the GFATM grants sub-recipients in Kostanai region according to the schedule of meetings (see below) and obtaining information on the implementation of the GFATM grant;

3. Meetings with service recipients of the GFATM grant;

4. Discussion of the results of the visit with the principal recipient of the GFATM - SE "Republican Center on Prevention and Control of AIDS" (hereinafter - RC AIDS) and SE "National Center of Tuberculosis Problems" (hereinafter - NCTP);

5. Development of recommendations to address the problems associated with the implementation of the project and the dissemination of best practices to the sub - recipients from other areas;

6. Distribution of the final report with the recommendations to all CCM members and other interested agencies;
