CCM Meeting on July 23 2026

On 23 July 2026, a meeting of the Country Coordinating Mechanism for Cooperation with International Organizations on HIV Infection and Tuberculosis (CCM) was held under the chairmanship of Mr. M.Y. Ramazanov, Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the newly elected Chair of the CCM.

During the meeting, CCM members reviewed the key issues related to the preparation of Kazakhstan's HIV funding request under the Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (GC8) for the 2027–2029 allocation period, discussed the next steps for its further refinement, and considered issues related to ensuring the sustainability of the national HIV and tuberculosis response. Following the discussion, it was decided to return the funding request for further revision and subsequently submit it for electronic voting by email.

Agenda:

1. Consideration of the draft funding request to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund) under the HIV component for the 2027–2029 implementation period, taking into account the recommendations made during the CCM meeting held on 14 July 2026.
2. Consideration of the outcomes of the stakeholders' meeting on the implementation of OneImpact.
