The oversight of grant implementation is one of the important functions of the CCM to ensure that grants are being implemented as planned and reach beneficiaries. The basic principle of oversight is to ensure efficient and effective use of resources. Oversight visits involve obtaining an overview of the grant implementation, grant management, partnership in the framework of grants and grants results. The recommendations of the oversight committee should contribute to solving the problems that block the progress of grant implementation and hamper successful realization.
During the oversight visit the Oversight Committee members will meet with the GFATM grants sub-recipients according to the schedule of meetings, review the sub-recipients reports, conduct discussions with the GFATM projects performers, identify problems arised during the implementation of GFATM grant and develop proposals to improve the quality of services provided, as well as issues on the coordination with the principal recipients of GFATM grants.
