CCM Meeting as of June 11 2020

Within the UNDP project “Support to CCM for 2020-2022”, funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter - the Global Fund), the meeting of the Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues was convened with the participation  of representatives of the Global Fund Country Team, UNDP, UNAIDS, CDC, USAID, UNODC and other international and non-governmental organizations, as well as the National Center for Human Rights, the Kazakh Scientific Center of Dermatology and Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1. The Order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 5, 2020 No. 63-r “On amendments to the Order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 11, 2017 No. 43-r“ On the Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues and amendments to the Order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 23, 2016 No. 43-r “On the National Coordinating Council for Health Protection under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

2. Draft Concept Note for the Global Fund grant for the HIV component for 2021-2023 (hereinafter - the Global Fund)

3. The situation of persons affected by socially significant diseases held in prisons of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Speaker - Molchanov Sergey Nikolaevich, member of the Coordination Council under the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, MD, psychiatrist of the highest category.

4. CCM approval of the project closure related issue under the Global Fund grant in Kazakhstan for the Tuberculosis component for 2017-2019, transferring fixed assets procured under the project to the balance of sub-recipients.
