Meeting on the selection of the non-state sector for the CCM

On September 10, 2026, a working meeting was held to organize the election of non-state sector representatives to the new Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) for engagement with international organizations regarding HIV and tuberculosis in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, participants discussed the key stages of the electoral process, the roles of organizing committee representatives, procedures for interacting with the CCM Secretariat, and matters concerning candidate and voter registration and procedural documentation. An updated election plan and a draft announcement regarding the launch of the open election were presented to the participants. Representatives of the constituencies agreed to hold internal meetings, designate members for the organizing committee, and submit the relevant information to the CCM Secretariat by September 18, 2026. The election process entails the sequential completion of established stages, culminating in the finalization of the process and the submission of final documents by early November 2026.
