The meeting of the Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues (CCM) was chaired by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.
The following CCM members participated in the meeting: Astana – 4 participants, Almaty – 15 participants, Shymkent – 2 participants. 5 out of 26 CCM members were absent: Astana – 2, Almaty – 2, Shymkent - 2. Quorum is present. 
Management of conflict of interest. During the meeting the following CCM members did not participate in the voting and decision-making processes due to the conflict of interest:
  1. Y. Birtanov – CCM Chair, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Questions 2, 4);
  2. G. Mussabekova - CCM member, the staff member of the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Kazakhstan (Questions 2, 4);
Two copies of signed conflict of interest declarations are attached to the minutes.

The meeting of the Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues (CCM) was chaired by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.
The following CCM members participated in the meeting: Astana – 6 participants, Almaty – 15 participants, Shymkent – 3 participants. 2 out of 26 CCM members were absent: Astana – 2, Almaty – 1. Quorum is present. 
Management of conflict of interest. During the meeting the following CCM members did not participate in the voting and decision making processes due to the conflict of interest:
  1. Y. Birtanov – CCM Chair, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Kazakhstan is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Health of RK (Questions 1, 4);
  2. Zh.Bekshin - CCM member, Chair of the Committee for Public Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of RK is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Health of RK (Questions 1, 4);
  3. N. Amanzholov – CCM Deputy Chair, President of LEU "Kazakhstan Union of People Living with HIV" which participates in the implementation of projects within the Multicountry Funding Applications to receive funding from the Global Fund for Eastern Europe and Central Asiathe (Question 5.1, 5.4);
  4. G. Mussabekova - CCM member, staff member of the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Kazakhstan (Questions 1, 4);
  5. S. Pak - CCM member, Director of KNCV Representative Office in Central Asia, which is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund grant for TB component (Questions 1, 4) ;
  6. B. Turgunbayev – CCM member, Chair of the Association of AIDS Service Organizations "Zholdas" which is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund grant for TB component (Questions 1, 4);
Six copies of signed conflict of interest declarations are attached to the minutes.

The CCM working meeting was held on January 24, 2018, with participation of  the Global Fund representatives - D. Laticevschi, Global Fund Regional Manager for EECA, and T. Vinichenko, Global Fund Portfolio Manager for Kazakhstan. Agenda included the following issues:
  1. Welcome remarks;
  2. Brief overview of the Global Fund grants for HIV and Tuberculosis being implemented in Kazakhstan;
  3. Discussion of further cooperation plans for Global Fund grants under the New Funding Model from 2018 on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis components;
  4. Miscellaneous.
