The broadened CCM meeting, May 16-17, 2013

On May 16-17, 2013 in Astana was held the broadened Country Coordinating Committee (hereinafter- CCM) meeting that took place with participation of all CCM members, key stakeholders from Government and International organizations. The broadened CCM’s meeting (hereinafter - meeting) is aimed to launch a Country Dialogue within the New Funding Model of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. By the participants of the meeting discussed key aspects of the Concept Note of Kazakhstan for 2014 -2016 that should be submitted to the Global Fund within the New Funding Model. The CCM Kazakhstan during the two-day meeting raised different issues related to the TB, M/XDR TB problems in the civil and penitentiary systems. Moreover, at the meeting decided to develop the National Strategic Plan to Fight TB, M/XDR TB, National Plan of the phased TB services reforms in the civil and penitentiary systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Upon hearing and discussing the reports made by participants in accordance with the meeting agenda, the CCM adopt its Resolution.

CCM Meeting on November 23, 2012

At the regular CCM meeting held on November 23, 2012, CCM members discussed the following issues:
1. Review on results of the International Union Against TB and other lung diseases Conference, 13-17 November 2012. Requirements for CCM to work with future GFATM grants;
2. Presentation of the report on the results of oversight visits to Aktobe, Kostanai and Mangystau regions;
3. Presentation of the report on results of 2012 of "Support to CCM for 2012" project;
4. Upcoming filed visit to North-Kazakhstan region;
5. Miscellaneous: presentation of the demo-version of CCM web-site.
