Meetings
On May 16-17, 2013 in Astana was held the broadened Country Coordinating Committee (hereinafter- CCM) meeting that took place with participation of all CCM members, key stakeholders from Government and International organizations. The broadened CCM’s meeting (hereinafter - meeting) is aimed to launch a Country Dialogue within the New Funding Model of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. By the participants of the meeting discussed key aspects of the Concept Note of Kazakhstan for 2014 -2016 that should be submitted to the Global Fund within the New Funding Model. The CCM Kazakhstan during the two-day meeting raised different issues related to the TB, M/XDR TB problems in the civil and penitentiary systems. Moreover, at the meeting decided to develop the National Strategic Plan to Fight TB, M/XDR TB, National Plan of the phased TB services reforms in the civil and penitentiary systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Upon hearing and discussing the reports made by participants in accordance with the meeting agenda, the CCM adopt its Resolution.

During online meeting CCM members discussed Round 8 the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) grant redistribution approval, the funding of "Tuberculosis" component.
Minutes of meeting as of October 17, 2012
On October 16, 2012 CCM vice chairs met with V. Grishechkina, GFATM Portfolio manager. During the meeting following issues related to activities of CCM in Kazakhstan were discussed:
1. Results of field visits to Atyrau, Aktobe and Mangystau region; 2. Results of OIG audit on GFATM projects in Republic of Kazakhstan; 3. “Support to CCM in 2012-2013” project’s budget; 4. “Inserting changes into Decree No. 854 as of July 25, 2011 “Creation of country Coordination Mechanism to work with International organizations” issued by Government of Republic of Kazakhstan”, CCM structure |
