Meetings

The CCM Secretariat held a training webinar for the Oversight Committee members. During the meeting, the participants discussed the role and functions of the CCM within the Global Fund, key oversight tasks, and Kazakhstan's experience in organizing grant monitoring. Particular attention was paid to practical aspects of the work: analysis of Principal Recipient reports, conducting on-site visits and interaction with key partners. Following the webinar, the participants agreed on the final forms of the questionnaires and the Oversight Committee report, which will be used in future activities. The Secretariat will continue to support the Committee members in strengthening the oversight function and plans to conduct additional training events.

Webinar objectives:

1. To familiarize the Oversight Committee members with the role and functions of the CCM within the Global Fund.

2. To clarify the tasks and powers of the Oversight Committee, including its place in the CCM structure.

3. To present the key standards and requirements of the Global Fund in the field of oversight activities.

On January 29, 2025, a meeting of the Country Coordinating Committee for work with international organizations on HIV and tuberculosis (hereinafter referred to as the CCM) was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Nurlybaev E.Sh., Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the CCM.

1. On the draft  funding request for funding from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the Tuberculosis component for 2026-2028.

2. On the project to launch a study on the prevalence of drug use among schoolchildren and young people.

3. On the nomination of representatives of Kazakhstan to the Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

2. БКК-нің 2024 жылға арналған жұмысының қорытындылары және  ЕҮК-нің 2025 жылға арналған іс-шаралар жоспарын, оның ішінде ЕҮК-нің қадағалау функциясы бойынша жоспарын бекіту туралы.

3. Жаһандық қордың Шығыс Еуропа және Орталық Азия елдері бойынша сайлау тобы жұмысының қорытындылары туралы.
